Indigestion is often caused by:

  • Overeating
  • Eating too rapidly
  • Not chewing properly.
  • Foods not properly cooked

  • Drinking too much water with meals,

  • Emotional upset or stress

Home remedy # 3 Drink aloe vera or papaya juice

Home remedy # 4 Boil two teaspoons of dried peppermint with one cup of water.

Home remedy # 5 Mix a fresh juice of curry leaves with lime juice.  Drink after meals.

Home remedy # 6 Mix a spoonful of cinnamon, four cloves, in a mint tea.

Home remedy # 7 Boil three leaves of mint in a cup of water for 5 minutes and drink itafter meals in order to prevent indigestion

Stop smoking

 

Cut down on or eliminate alcohol, tea, or coffee

 

Eat lighter but more frequent meals.

 

Avoid foods that are highly spiced or loaded with fat

 

Eat slowly and keeping mealtimes relaxed

 

Not take aspirin or other medications on an emptystomach

 

Stay away from foods that may cause an upset stom­achsuch as cucumbers, onions, peppers, tomatoes and beans.
